Day 5 & 6 at Jane Packer

I am a few days late with my updates, here is last Friday lesson.
Day 5 at Jane Packer
Lesson 9: Posy Arrangement / Cover Bowl

Prado Carnation x 6(green)
Double Liziantus Rosita x 5
Trachelium - Jade (a little pine like plant)
Cymbidium Orchid x 1 bunch
Bamboo - Snake Gras
Aspidestra x 1 bunch
Step 1: Secure the Oasis in the plastic container with tape, so is around the container. You can use all kinds of leaf & brunches that you fancy. eg. magnolia, Aspidestra... etc
Step 2: Treatment to all the Aspidestra leaves, slice both sides, fold the leaf to 2/3, poke the leaf through the leaf wired around the leaf. Placed the 3 leafs right in the center, the remainder around the bowl. 
But, today was to use Bamboo - Snake Gras to cover the container. Akira taught us a brilliant way to use rubber band to secure the Snake Gras...
Step 3: Add on Orchids, 2 by 2. spread evenly, add on Carnation in group of 3...etc, once done wrap with Strings, remove the rubber band.
Here is the creation, with Ribbon will be perfect.

Lesson 10: Long & Low Arrangement:
Avalanche Rose x 15
Stock White x 12
Bridal x12
Baby Salac x 1 Bunch
Eucaliptus - Cinerea 1/2 bunch
Note: Always check the table size before deciding the size of the arrangement.

Step 1: Secure the Oasis on the plastic container.
Step 2: Start with the Salac on the both end of the container, work around it, then top down and so on.
Step 3: Add on the 3 Stock & Bridal on each side, alternate it on the other side.
Step 3: in the center, add on 3 roses in a group, add on Bridal & Stock... add on Ecu leafs in the gaps and between florals...

Lesson 11: Mossed Wreath
Hebe x 5 bunches
Spagnum Moss
Step 1: Wrap the moss with the wire firmly, if using leave, then pin the leave in three... or any foliage with wire... but today...
Step 2: Group the hebe leaf in a group of 3, 3 on the leaft 3 in the middle, 3 toward the inside, wired every 3 leafs together and add on... 
Step 3: Once done, just turn to the back and pin the plastic ribbon on, keep the moisture of the moss and  to protect the surface of the door.


Lesson 12: Oasis Garland
Garland is widely use in wedding to wrap around poles, table, arch...

Pittus Bunch
Dracena Florida Beauty x 4
Mini Gebera "Orangino" x 12
Tulip x 15
Kumquats x 15

Step 1: Cut the Oasis to six small pieces, wrap with plastic sheet, place on chicken wire with 2 inch apart, add on moss in between Oasis. Wrap with Chicken wire, each moss is secure with tape around.
Step 2: Placed the Pittus from both ends and slowing add on from the base then work on the top, spread the Dracena Florida Beauty among the leafs.
Step 3: All the Kumquats, pre-wired for use. Spread evenly in a group of 3 to 4 around the Garland. Then add the 3 Gebera from the middle, and spread evenly, then the Tuplip in a group of 2 to 3. Here is how the Garland look like after joined.
